Tap dance is the commonality that bonds us all together. Through this, we will explore tap dance and adventures in the great outdoors together. The end result will be artistic growth with a fresh outlook on the art.

Below is a sample schedule of The Mini Shed. A personalized detailed scheduled will be sent out on June 1.

ARRIVAL DAY

Option 1

Dancers can arrive directly at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado by their parent or legal guardian.

Option 2

Dancers will be met at Denver International Airport by Mini Shed staff and will be shuttled directly to the YMCA of the Rockies. Shuttle times will be published March 1.

Our first group activity will be dinner in the Aspen Dining Hall followed by the Mini Shed Orientation. A list of guidelines will be given to all of the students with specific rules.

DAY 2

Exploration of the Y camp and guided tour of all of the facilities. Tap classes and improvisational workshops will fill the other half of the day. Evening activity TBA.

DAY 3

Camp activities will be our main goal of the day along with a special tap class by one of our Woodshed staff and a classroom activity. Evening activity TBA.

DAY 4

Classroom activity, tap classes, and preparation for The Share Experience. Evening activity TBA.

DAY 5

Day of the Share! All preparations and the actual Share in the afternoon. Pizza party with all of the attendees of The Mini Shed and The Woodshed Experience.

DAY 6

Travel day back home. Shuttle schedules will be available March 1. All attendees must depart by 12:00pm.
